Mex Ams barely even want to associate with poor MexAms so why would middle and upper blacks? We have a much stronger collective identity in this society. We hold onto our identity even as we move up the SES ladder, and across our phenotypical spectrum. Y'all don't even have that with each other so why would we have it with you?
