He's been preparing for 18 years, respect it

Locked up for 18 years, becomes a professional boxer, trains with Barksdale, unifies titles in the same year, and brings the promoter Michael B Creed out of retirement.

Nah they didn’t even have to do it this way. They could have at the very least modeled his career after Bernard Hopkins, who did his time and was able to become a real class fighter.

18 years my nygga? It just makes the story silly

I saw creed 2 in theaters and loved it....maybe cause I was geeked off bringing back Drago? that was my favorite rocky flick maybe I need to revisit it....people are trashing it in here.....creed 1 is a modern classic watch it all the time with the fam. Excited for news of a third

THIS IS THE COLI...

CREED 2 WAS FINE
AND HAD THAT BIG BLOCKBUSTER APPEAL.

CREED 1 WAS OBVIOUSLY A CLASSIC
AND MORE ROOTED IN THE DIRT.

ONLY KNOCK ON CREED 2
IS THE NEW DIRECTOR DIDNT
USE THE POV BOXING ANGLES
THAT WERE USED IN CREED 1.

HOPEFULLY MBJ BRINGS THAT BACK.

I Loved the trailer because Michael did a good job mirroring Rocky III with this film. Very happy and Proud of Michael for getting behind the camera on such a huge Franchise like the Rocky Series. Stallone also directed many films in the series as well. Jonathan looks like a beast in this. Again getting Mr. T/Clubber Lane energy. Also showing Creed's success and how he's dealing with it just like Rocky in part III. Again "Rocky IV" was huge growing up but I think we all watched "Rocky III" the most because Mr. T was GOAT Status and the fact Rocky and Apollo squashed their beef and teamed up to train was dope too. Wouldn't mind a Stallone cameo to keep the continuity going but based on the story synopsis, it take place 7 years after part II so where is Rocky at this point? Is he even alive? He was already sick in the other films. The Trailer does show he visiting Apollo's grave. But I can't wait. Anyways good for Michael, I hope this is a blockbuster success for him.
