People actually think this is real.
The rumor of MBJ being considered for Scarface was started by some dude trolling on Twitter earlier this year. Newsweek didn't "report" anything.

I look at Scarface as a comedy more than a serious movie. It is one of my favorites though. But i get why you say that, it's really not groundbreaking it's just one of the originals that paved the way for other movies like it. That's why people respect it.

Yup. But that’s the point I’m making. People rewriting history about that movie. It was a remake that didn’t get favorable reviews when it released. The hood fukked wit it at the time and that’s about it.But ended up being a classic anyhow.
