Ok. IMO I don't think Scarface should be remade EVER! I dont give a shyt what race plays the part. Why can't people just leave the classics alone. :gucci:
this

a classic is a classic

and why does making a white character black something to get excited over its a cheap move to gain the black audience.

True that. I'd like to see a more positive image of the black man anyway in movies. We got enough playing criminals. Plus the original Scarface really should have been a Colombian not a Cuban tbh. Cubans were the Colombians bytch do boys during the crazy 80's in Miami.

Why are they even making a remake of this in the first place is the main question.

Hollywood fell off we don't get no original ideas anymore.
People don't see original movies as much as established brand already.

Hell even some established books turned into big budget movies flopped big time

When Pacino took the role of Scarface no one was talking about how iconic it would be. People thought it would flop, and it did flop. Then 90’s hip hop gave it life and meaning.

Pacino had already done the first two Godfather movies by that point. He had a lot more acting ability by comparison. Scarface wouldn't have been Scarface otherwise.

Plus he was in serpico and dog day afternoon. Those two movies put him on the map as far as his acting goes.

Here's our Black and Brown "coalition" :comeon:

Read the comments. Do they not realize that the original scarface in 1932 was based on Al Capone, who was ITALIAN?:what:

In the 1980 remake, a Cuban Tony Montana was played by an ITALIAN, Al Pacino :skip:

Plus. In the remake, Tony was CUBAN, who are mostly BLACK. Michael B. Jordan is perfectly casted. These wetbacks in the comments talking about having Danny Treyjo cheese grated face ass play an actual historical Black figure in DR. MLK. :what:

And talking about "Latinos" taking over the Black Panther franchise...

These people are NOT your friends. Black people truly have no allies. Stope deluding yourselves. These people are wannabe, honorary CACS. Always have been, always will be...:pacspit:

Brown people only want to be down with us when it serves their own agenda. They constantly prove this.
