Him struggling from three and lack of driving to the basket i think had to do with him at some point hurting his knee because earlier in the season he was playing well and was doing everything you mention.

Shabazz might not be in the league in a few years. he's not anywhere near as good as Rio
Shabazz shot over .340 from 3 last year and is a decent passer. Rio at his best is a decent defender and and shooter, but Shabazz is cheaper and has more upside.

summer league is gonna weed someone out. they have too many guards right now, so we will see. I just remember the last 2 years some dudes saying and thinking Cole was better than Rio and had potential to be a starter. I see some Cole in Napier's game.Who knows bruh. It's hard to say, Napier before the New Year looked like he was well on his way to having a productive rookie season. Adding Dragic makes Chalmers expendable (if money is the issue) because Napier and TJ can both play the point, and in TJ's case he can play the 2 as well.

I agree Summer League will tell us some of what we need to know about Shabazz. I do think Shabazz can be a pretty good back to Dragic tho. He just has to learn to finish around the basket & get more consistent with his outside shooting.
Also a sleeper PG on our summ er league roster, Travis Trice.
Well i didnt know that. Knowing how Spo & Riley take coming into camp in shape seriously it makes sense. Also a bad look seeing how it was his first season with us. Yikes.

Yeah he totally fell off after that good stretch with Wade out and averaging 19 a game. I hope that's all it was.

TBH I didn't pay too much attention to Tyler when I watched games, so I don't know.
If you believe Tyler has more upside that's fine. I think it's in the team's best interest to give Tyler/Bazz; Ennis, and Winslow consistent playing time, because we need cheap role players for 2016 and on.
