Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald:

A friend of Dwyane Wade has been telling people that Miami’s preference is to give Wade $36 million over three years — $16 million this season, then $10 million and $10 million.

That’s quite a difference from Wade’s preference for $60 million over three, according to that friend. Neither the Heat nor his agent is confirming numbers. I would expect that gap to close somewhat, but the question is how much.

Can we stop the "bitter ex wife" type posts already? :comeon:
We're men. We move on. fukk that lashing out and healing sh!t

:yeshrug:

Lebron is in the middle of the finals, with his new team, while our team had one of our most disappointing seasons possible plus missing the playoffs.

From championship contenders to behind the rebuilding Bucks and Celtics.

I'd be lying if I didn't say that didn't feel like a dose of ether. :patrice:

If bosh didn't have that serious injury we would have been in the playoffs. Stop worrying bout Bron n look at the reasons why we struggled all year.

yeah there were certainly a lot of reasons. An unnamed coach leaving the previous offensive system in place built around a player we don't have signed to the roster being a pretty big issue.

And? I know all this stuff and I know there were extenuating circumstances to us missing the playoffs but it doesn't matter.

With Lebron James, we'd be in the playoffs even if we were starting Napier, Chalmers, Williams, and Haslem. It's that damn simple.

It doesn't matter how injured a team is, Lebron pretty much guarantees a playoff spot.

And as far as the obvious Chris Bosh season ended went, can we really act surprised about a lot of these injuries?

Granger has been injured and has no goddamn knees. His injury concerns were well-documented.

Wade has been getting injured almost every damn season since we lost to the Mavs. He had to be put on a documented playing schedule last year...just to make it to the playoffs in injured.

Haslem? Birdman? Old but high hustle and energy players. Of course, age and injury are gonna start kicking in.

Bosh? Bosh has been getting nagging or annoying injuries too, usually around playoff time.

So how surprised can we be that we have a fairly injury prone and aging squad getting injured? Hell, the injuries are the only reason we got Whiteside.
