i'm good with either wright or miller. we need at least 1 proven knockdown sniper tho.

who is even the best shooter on the roster right now...chalmers? bosh? green? dragic?:scust:

After further review I'm not ready to give up on Ennis yet. He's got the athleticism we could use at the end of the bench and despite the bad summer he's shown he can play in the league.

man we fool ourselves every time we look at or post a highlight video. there is probably a highlight video of eddy curry somewhere.

if they want to bring him to camp, fine, but they better invite some other people to fight for that spot. there is one spot left. who would you rather have Ennis, Walker, Miller, Wright, or Beasley?

edit: maybe he could backup Whiteside :ehh:

doggy you really want to compare a top 5 pick eddy curry mix playing with the big 3 to a 2nd round rookie playing with a depleted team :comeon:

Look I like Wright, wouldn't mind him being here. but from an overall talent perspective the only one of that group (Walker/Miller/Wright/Beasley) that should even be a legitimate argument over Ennis is Beasley. This whole ennis is trash and should be cut narrative is mostly revisionist history after folks got spoiled with some of the happenings of this summer, as I can recall most people were pleased with his performance. I should stress again that's a 2nd round prospect in his rookie year. You got to give these guys a chance, let's not make this another Patrick Beverly or Marcus Thornton where we had em and let em get away.

the point is highlight videos can make ANYONE look good
most people also wanted Cole as our starting PG :scust: he hasn't showed any improvements through the course of the season last year, and was horrible this summer. like I said, bring him to camp, but as far as being a lock for a spot. nah.

:russ: I legit laughed at the Jay line. it's not about being all stars, its about being an actual contributing rotational player on a championship contender. what does Ennis do that gives you hope he'll be that?

i'm kinda down on ennis because of the comments he made. he sounded like a broken and defeated man who lost all belief and confidence in himself. once that happens there's usually no coming back.

I try to focus on what guys do good and developing those strengths rather than worrying about what they aren't so good at, especially as a first year player. Looking at Ennis tape he's already a good slasher which is great to have in an uptempo/passing offense, he has the capacity to become a good corner 3 shooter, and when given the minutes he crashes the boards. As a 14th/15th guy I dont know what more you can ask for unless talking about a guy like Beasley who is a better all around offensive player.

Ennis needs to actually work on the shyt he knows is his weakness. Like dont slump & act like a little ass bytch(like he was after the summer league). Get back in the gym & fukking grind! Thats what really made me sour on Ennis. Yes he has the athleticism & potential. But is he the type of player to go & work to get to that potential. So far? im going to say nah. Just my honest opinion bruhs. :manny:

Li-Nings on the comeup :patrice:

Those kind of have a Lebron 10ish vibe to them. :patrice:
