the Heat are over the salary cap.
the only thing they have to offer ANY free agents are either the MMLE at like 3.4 mil OR a vets min, which for Green I think would be like 1.3 mil

keep those numbers in mind when thinking about free agents

Im just saying Micky may not wanna pay any more tax if he doesnt have to. Wade, Bosh, Deng and Dragic alone put you over the cap.

thats fine he can want that. but the longer he sits out on the market the more he would be willing to take 3 mil.

I wish Mickey would pay the taxes and field the best team possible. They need every bit of depth possible to compete with Chicago and Cleveland. Adding a legit, veteran 3 point threat, keeping Chalmers and Bird, and finding another backup Center would be a big help.

But, Chalmers and/or Birdman are probably gone and replaced with vet minimum guys. And all I keep reading about is Marcus Thornton and Boozer. Dorell Wright is out there too, and he's a comparable, cheaper alternative to Gerald Green.
