I currently live in San Diego.Haven't been to Miami though so I'm basing it off acquaintances who been there and youtube videos.Have you been to both? Miami dwarfs San Diego. It's a different feel. Especially coming down 95 from West Palm Beach into the city. San Diego is a nice city.
Climate change and rising sea levels breh
When I travel to other cities, I appreciate Miami more.
Exactly. Florida is flat, and it makes me sad everytime I think about it. Miami would be a top 3 city if it had any sort of elevation. The flatness of Miami and Florida in general knocks it down a peg. Pitiful really. That’s why Cali>>>>>most states. California’s combination of landscape, hills, aesthetics is hard to beat. San Diego has so many beautiful hillside neighborhoods that blend well with its urban build and Spanish style homes. If only Miami had hills and mountains like San Diego, it would be truly a beautiful city.
Same with Scarface. They couldn’t film in Miami because the Cuban community was upset at the film. A lot of it was filmed in LA. Especially the refuge camp scene from the underpass. They call this method “California Doubling”If you watch CSI: Miami there are episodes with mountains in background.
Lot of outdoor shots are filmed in Long Beach, CA
If you ever see old episodes of Dukes of Hazzard, it's like wow Hazzard County, Georgia sure does look alot like southern California.Same with Scarface. Yeah, some scenes when they’re racing through the rural areas, it looks kinda brown, and dry and brushy. Instead of seeing the pine trees typical of Georgia and the Southeastern US, you see California oaks and brown hills. Ain’t no brown hills in the Southeastern US. This is the most verdant region in the country. If you ever see old episodes of Dukes of Hazzard, it's like wow Hazzard County, Georgia sure does look alot like southern California.
