If this happens it won't be for another 20 years. Public transportation in Miami is currently trash and it's hard to live there without a car. I literally took $20K less to take a job that wasn't in Miami, living there was torture for me.

15 mins????? lol I find that really really hard to believe fam considering Miami traffic, but either way most bus stops aren't even covered so you're fukked if its raining out.

this unless you got the means to spend on countless uber trips and don't care how long its gonna get you from point a to B, everyone in south Florida is forced to have a car.

This was a decade back so maybe the transit got worse?

But yeah, it was 15 minutes for me. I didn’t mind the bus system it was the walks in the heat that had me pissed off

Traffic

Not much diversity

Too many transplants

Etc...

Not that bad, Miami was just better to me.
I’ve spent time in both cites and that Atlanta traffic is on damn near on par with LA. I don’t remember ever being in a traffic jam in Miami proper. Collins maybe (which ain’t Miami)but it still wasn’t like like Atlanta

Thats all im saying too.

Atlanta is dope but its not the same to me anymore. I went back and traffic was disgusting. Certain shyt had shut down, in order to do shyt you got to go completely out the way, parking was ridiculous, etc.

I literally didn’t even hang out with friends because of traffic. If it’s going to take me an hour and a half to go chill with you then you want to switch spots because parking is 20$ and the line is 20$ or everything is crowded or a 30min wait then I might as well drink at my fukking house.

I lived in Coral Gables and getting to Downtown/Brickell would be a nightmare at certain hours. US1 going North is a fukken parking lot in the morning and Going south in the Afternoon. 826 ain't no joke either

Don’t take it if you don’t need to

Miami has traffic and a lot of bad drivers but If I wanna go to a spot it doesn’t take an hour and 30 minutes.

Hopefully they complete the Brightline from Miami to Ft Lauderdale to Orlando first. I'd rather have that.
