WOATLuck?
Suck a dikk get the fukk out of here
Kell Brook did sort of expose GGG on a certain level, but he aint have the power.Golden Boy saw that Danny Jacobs fight and said its a go
You're right, I don't watch boxing...nikka, he really doesn't have to. Chavez aint taking advantage of shyt. Canelo is taking a breather on the ropes.
He looks far from shyt, you don't watch boxing.
Shane was entertaining, and at least tried.I wonder if this dude was forced into boxing because of his dad. You need to be passionate about your career.
This was like Shane McMahon going against AJ Styles.
They got SAS talking about this on ESPN
I got finessed out of 69.99
That wwe reveal though
I've seen all his recent fights. I'm not saying he's a bum. But there are some factors in this fight that are alarming for Canelo. For one....he's small. And I'm not even talking about weight. He's listed at 5'9", but if anyone that watched the Cotto fight will see, at the end of the fight they embrace and rest their heads on each other's forehead, and they are close in height (Cotto is barely 5"7"). Junior is a legit 6'1" coupled with the fact he's fighting with a 3-4 inch reach advantage. Junior isn't the best fighter in the world, but he has championship level pedigree and talent. He's literally walking into the ring with most of the advantages while Canelo fans are banking on soft factors like Junior being "lazy". Another thing Canelo does in the ring, which isn't a bad thing, is that he really prides himself on being a boxer. Unlike someone like Floyd, who's had experience of being the "smaller" guy in the ring, I don't think Canelo has ever been in a situation where he's being leaned on by someone much bigger. Sometimes skills go out of the window and you just have to fight. What happens when he's no longer on his toes and both guys are stuck in mud and just have to fight? Now add in the fact a "light heavyweight" will be leaning on you all night. I'm not sold on Canelo "gas" issue being fixed and I think he's gonna find himself in some deep waters this fight. I wouldn't be shocked if Canelo gets ko'd late.
banking on him being lazy?
No we're banking on the fact that Canelo is better technically, faster, better defensively, has faced better opponents so he has elite level experience, and he's been on this stage before so he wont freeze under the pressure. Chavez's biggest fight was vs Sergio Martinez..........Canelo has faced not only Miguel Cotto, in a PR vs Mexico big fight, but Floyd Mayweather himself on the grandest stage. Plus we're banking on the fact that with an extra 10lbs cushion, Canelo wouldn't have to drop as much weight as he did to fight at 154, and will have better stamina than ever seen out of him.
However, we'll be here at the end of the fight to re-discuss this post
Those aren't the advantages I was speaking of. I literally spoke on weight, height, and reach advantage. I conceded that Canelo prides himself on being a better boxer, but what happens when he's too gassed/hurt to be "technical" and has to fight a bigger man off of him? And I don't want to hear about pressure......this dude is literally the son of the greatest Mexican fighter of all time. He's carried that pressure from the time he was in grade school. When it's all said and done, Canelo didn't gain some magical advantage by getting embarrassed by Floyd in front of all those people. You act like he showed up and did his thing in that fight. If anything, it showed that when plan A wasn't working, he gave up and became a punching bag against a welterweight. In fact, he might be the last opponent Floyd felt comfortable enough with to let his hands go against.
There's gonna come a point in this fight were that "Mexican style" kicks in and they'll try to knock each other's head off......you just better hope Canelo can withstand it cause we've never even seen him in there with a big puncher that's his size, let alone bigger than him.
I didn't speak on advantages either. I told you what we were banking on since you were incorrect in your assumption that:
So I advised you what we are banking on.
I mean, that shouldn't have been an option of retort though breh
You cant argue any differently. Even Chavez' trainer knows that Canelo is a better technical boxer
Hypothetical? Hypotheticals are only answered "if" it happens. I don't see that happening
And he's quit in a fight before....even WITH bearing his Dad's name. So, what makes you so sure he wouldn't quit again against a much faster fighter than he's used to facing over the last 5 years?
So, Canelo hasn't improved greatly since his fight vs Floyd?
Have you seen Canelo since that fight?
Floyd averaged 27 punches thrown a round....that's an example of Floyd being comfortable to let his hands go?
Floyd stans
You're talking ridiculous. Just make sure you're here after the fight.........don't go hide out in the coliseum
Ok bro....be dense if you want. This is boxing. You keep acting like Canelo won't be in there with someone throwing punches back at him. Let alone someone that lands 41% of his total punches and 46% of his power punches. It's a reason the fight is 12 rounds. You gain nothing from gauging a fight based on how each will look the first few rounds of the fight. The fight is won or lost when you're either a) better conditioned and able to sustain your peak performance level longer or b) having enough when you're stuck in mud and have to beat the other guy in a "fight". It's only fair to try and predict this fight in the margins because this the first time Canelo is walking into the ring with multiple physical disadvantages, even if he does have more talent.
And regardless of your Floyd stats, show me any portion of the Manny, Maidana, or Berto fights that looked like when Floyd was peppering Canelo in the corner with uppercuts and right hands in the 7th round. Or when he had him against the ropes towards the end of the 10th round. He's literally the last opponent that Floyd had no qualms letting his hands go against. And the issue wasn't whether or not Canelo improved since the Floyd fight. The issue is people using that experience as some kinda plus for being able to handle the spot light. He got whitewashed and embarrassed. Only thing he gained from that is he got his ass whooped in front of a lot of people. Period.
Both looked good at the weigh in and we should get a good fight. It's just mind boggling that Junior is getting written off so easily.
And I'll be here after the fight...
Canelo doesn't fight anything like Brook did that fight though and he fights in spurts, just don't see it.I disagree... Canelo got the time at the size and is more skilled (imo) than Brook as well as the size and power.
People forget, GGG looked pretty bad against Brook until the size/weight/power caught up to him. He looked worse against Jacobs who I said won
They announced the ggg/canelo fight?Let's not forget GGG is 35, 11 year age advantage. It's anyone's fight, September 16th can't come soon enough
Someone explain how Roy Jones still looks 29
