the real hiphop.
Chavez looks better than he did against Martinez at that weigh in, he got down the right way.
I'm more shocked at Canelo looking drained to make 164.

martinez weigh in

That's because he weighed in 6 less pounds to face Sergio...thats why.

He was 158 vs Martinez in that picture, he's 164 vs Canelo in that picture.

He still looks hungry as hell in both pictures:hubie:
He was also smaller at the time than he is now. He cut weight with diretics that fight and the train is much more pronounced IMHO.
This one he looks lean but not as drained as he did IMHO, if you disagree I can understand, they both rehydrating heavy though which is strange to me on Canelo's part.

He's in better shape then the Martinez fight...not as soft...more muscle...hell yea them extra pounds mattered

What are people expecting him to look like at 164 tho??:beli:

He looked best case scenario to me...looked better then Martinez fight body wise(last big fight)...made the weight ...face wasnt Brandon Rios sunken in...he rehydrates like memo thinks N there's zero to complain about :manny:

Fight got made N people swore he wouldn't make weight...same media on Twitter talking shyt now...woulda been even worse had he lost the weight all at once...then we woulda got "lazy, munchies, didn't try"

No win situation :stopitslime:

Tomorrow tho....thats where we win :smugjccjr:

Mayweather: Canelo Will Knock Chavez Jr. Out in Late Rounds

Mayweather spoke with Stephen A. Smith on his radio show, and said Canelo had the advantage due to his big fight experience. Canelo has faced the likes of Mayweather, Shane Mosley, Erislandy Lara, Amir Khan, James Kirkland, Miguel Cotto and several others.

"Chavez has a lot of fights under his belt, but not as much experience in big fights as Canelo," Mayweather said. "He has been in fights with myself, Lara, Miguel Angel Cotto, Shane Mosley."

When asked to give his prediction on the outcome, Mayweather said - "I'm looking towards Canelo, late rounds knockout.'

Mayweather says the fight is big, but doesn't expect it to come close - in terms of pay-per-view buys - to his fight with Canelo, which did over 2.2 million buys - the third largest boxing pay-per-view buyrate in history.

"I thinks the fight is huge for the Hispanics. It's very, very big for the Hispanics. The fight is big, but the fight everyone wants to see is the fight with Canelo and Triple G [Gennady Golovkin], but a fight like that takes time to build."

If Canelo wins on Saturday, he is likely heading in the direction of a fight with WBC, IBO, WBA IBF middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin in the fall. Their promoters continue to discuss the terms for a fight in September, during Mexican Independence Day weekend. Canelo does have several backup options if they are unable to reach a deal.

After watching this go down I think canelo should just avoid ggg at all cost, he has a big following and can continue making lots of money.

I fear ggg will ruin him, at the end of the day I once was canelos biggest fans from the start and have a soft spot for him..

Floyd saying the same thing though:sas2:

Yet he's the same one picking Spence in a fight where he's going in front of 30k people in England in his first title shot (so am I). :sas2:

I wonder if Brook experience in title fights with Porter and GGG gives him the edge against his boy? :sas1:
