Promoter Oscar de la Hoya: “People know this is an all-out action-packed war. We haven’t had a fight like this in years; it’s a true Mexican civil war. Given the obvious Cinco de Mayo date and the bad blood between the boxers, I think it is safe to say this is the biggest fight in Mexican history. To give you an idea of how big this event is, let me give you some numbers. This will be the most attended indoor fight in the storied Las Vegas fight history with more than 20,000 in attendance. The fight sold out in 10 days, and we opened up more circuit-viewing theaters for everyone to watch on fight night in Las Vegas at MGM properties. Fight fans in six continents will be able to watch the fight with the HBO platform and streamed live on goldenboyppv.com giving anyone with a phone or laptop the ability to watch

There is no reason this fight shouldn't have been in Dallas, houston, or in LA at the Staples Center or LS Collisium.
Just shows you again how lazy these promoters are for a flat site fee instead of trusting that their fighters will actually draw

Until I see otherwise, I think the 12 rounds Canelo spent in the ring with Floyd is the best tutelage he's ever received. Even though he got washed in that fight, he fought a pretty good fight. I think I'd put it as the best performance against Floyd post retirement. That being said, Canelo is a cerebral fighter. Foot speed not the greatest but pretty good hand speed and he seems to be aware more of his limitations, which makes him an even better fighter. He's going to put Jr. on his ass a few time in route to a rout.
I agree because before his stamina was shyt!! Jr. finally impressed me his last fight but I still think Canelo is going to win.

Im.not seeing the face off the way a lot of you guys are. I saw Chavez trolling the entire interview like :ehh: :hubie::manny::troll:. While canelo was like:birdman::stopitslime:. Dont think Chavez was nervous or shook.

Canelo straight up said he does not respect him at lmao and he's an embarrassment to mexico all to his face

on top of that he's gonna beat the hit out of Chavez and told him to bet his purse lmao
