They're selling that sht in Walmart?

I remember all the bullsht excuses about needing to know the context, how beloved and non-racist its popularity sincerely is, cultural relativity blah blah...
How come it's appearance has been updated to a more current negative black American racial stereotype?

The Hispanic posters on here cant answer or say shyt to this because its got nothing to do with us

Were all most likely 2nd, 3rd generation Hispanos

The charchter is offensive but its from Mexico so what are we supposed to do?

Feel some type of guilt, apoligize on Mexico behalf? :stopitslime:

Condemn it if you saw the shyt in person but other than that :yeshrug: racial comics were a thing for a long time, trying to understand why mexican/hispanic posters need to answer for this.

In addition to Mexico, Memín remains a popular magazine in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, and other countries. At its peak, it had a weekly circulation of one and a half million issues in Mexico; as of mid-2005 it sells over 100,000 issues a week

Exactly.

When I first heard about this it was in the early 2000's and everytime I saw him he looked like an outdated 80's cartoon.

Now he's wearing fukking hats, earrings, and bandanas clearly given a more modernized black American look.

Have u been to mexico and asked everybody or how do u know bytch?

judging from your comment I originally quoted I probably been to Mexico more than you, that comic is still sold throughout Mexico today. It is what it is

Mexicans raised stateside aint necessarily familiar with it, that doesn't invalidate that Mexico loves that shyt
