I feel there's only 3 good teams that when they face each other it's a toss up, that's why I consider Concacaf trash, considering the squad Mexico and U.S. is using for Gold Cup, this is Costa Ricas tourney to loose

And I think Kinsman has a 10 year plans with player development, but they ain't wanna wait :yeshrug:

Mexico, USA, and Costa Rica are the first-tier teams, then Honduras, Panama, and Jamaica are the second tier.

For comparison, how many good South American teams would you say there are? Or African? Or Asian?

Our 1-2 elite aren't as good as South America's 1-2 elite, but South America ain't really that much deeper tah

In the good years, the upper-level depth in CONCACAF can compete with the upper-level depth anywhere but Europe.

How can u have watched both the U.S. and Jamaica this tourney and come to that conclusion? :dwillhuh: Jamaica had arguably the player of the tourney in their keeper, he saved their asses so many times, its not like they were lighting up other teams when they had games with %27 possession

Runner up in this tournament doesn't mean anything why is that hard to comprehend lol.Jamaica finishes 2nd doesn't mean they're on the rise considering they were outplayed in every game from QF...

You could luck ur way into silver in concacaf because of the competition.

I can see that I'm not going to change your mind, but it doesn't change the facts that support my opinion @Miggs

I agree that Canada has some good players in their pool as of now, however, these players have done NOTHING of notoriety for their national team.... Unless you want to call making it out of the group stage of a CONCACAF cup tournament, a competition that you yourself shytted on, sucessful(which they rarely do). Until Canada does something, anything of importance on any stage, then that good shyt you're talking about is all HYPE.

Let me restate the last few results for Jamaica vs Mexico for you:

Mexico A Team vs Jamaica A Team
2-2(Draw)

Jamaica B Team vs Mexico B Team (GC group play) 0-0 (Draw)

Mexico B Team vs Jamaica B Team (GC Semifinal)0-1

and for good measure....

Jamaica B vs Canada B(GC Quarterfinal)
2-1

Scoreboard please.......

Lastly your bias is showing. There are plenty teams in UEFA that play defensive football against better teams because to try to play an open game against teams with superior talent is asking to be "golear'd." That is just good tactical football. You think Austria is gonna try to go toe to toe with Germany? France vs Albania? Lol. If your team cannot break down a sound defensive team with a borderline world class keeper, then you'll just have to settle with the result. What makes what Jamaica did more impressive is that most of the players on their GC squad are MLS, USL and Jamaican professionals which are generally shytted on by eurosnobs and Mexicans(they gotta be humble and sit down now).

And last time I checked, second place finish >>>> quarterfinal finish.

Duece changed the flow of the game when he checked in.

Zardes be doing some smooth shyt then he'll make a bone headed mistake thatll have you scratching your head. That cross that led to the goal though.

@QuintessentialBM I understand your argument fully, but u can't expect me to give praise to Jamaica for what they did against a Mexico roster that will probably never play for A team,in the way they did,yes it worked I'm the end, cuz these players weren't good enough to break em down, just look at the last gold cup prior, Jamaica played Mexico in the Gold Cup final, this time with Mexico's A team ,Mexico washed them like 5-1 or some shyt, then in the copa centenario,Mexico beat them 2-0,the games u mentioned were all against Mexico's rejects (b/c team)

This American team has peaked. In 2018, they won’t make it past the group stages. However, the future is bright for Jamaican football. Gradual improvement over the years.

Japan had Kagwa at Dortmud/United, Hodan at AC Milan, and other Japanese players in Europe and were humbled at the world stage. In 2018, you are still relying on Jozy, Bradley and Dempsey with Pulisic, who basically another Green(huge flop).

2018 WC, even if you make it, you won’t make it past the group stages. 2010-2014 was peak America,

Great win by the US team! I think this will give them confidence towards qualification for the WC. Then in 2018, the USA will win the World Cup!:wow:.......:mjcry: One can only dream

Canada has better younger pieces coming up and you could clearly see that in there QF game...being the runner up in this tourney dont mean much cuz of the inferior talent.

A team like Jamaica who's been outplayed in 2 of the last 3 straight games can make it here and almost win it...

:mjlol: Somebody is just mad things didn't go his way.

It's been how many tournaments since Canada has made the final of the Gold Cup?
It's been how cycles since Canada made it to the final round of WC qualifying?

:mjlol: concacaf is so weak that even when USA and Mexico are on a downturn, they will still be good enough to go deep in this tournament and still good enough to qualify for the WC.
