there was a disagreement... the reason for this disagreement has a lot of opinions

but... the northern Mexicans basically went to war with the south.. and created nuestra familia and controlled norcal...

the reason they are allied with blacks, asians and others is because of culture and numbers...

socal closer to Mexico... they hold Mexican heritage and culture MUCH closer than norcal mexicans

also, socal has a higher number of Mexicans, so norcal Mexicans are vastly outnumbered and need allies

in my experience, if I came across a hood/gang banging Mexican in norcal.. i treat them just like I treat my nikkas...

they talk and act the same... "whats up nikka, whats up breh"

in LA, I come across a hood Mexican... i gotta ask where they from to see if they one of the ones who beef with blacks...

simply stating I'm from oakland puts them at ease, because I ain't set tripping like an LA nikka...

then when we talk it's usually more LA/hispanic vernacular... like saying "whats up perro(dawg)" "aye fool" shyt like that lol

so in the streets, if there was a norte having issues with them I say fukk em and side with the norte

if a norte was having issues with other crips/bloods I would try to help them both squash it...

if I was locked up, i'd do whatever the program was for my side

I'm pretty sure a norte would get a pass in socal when it comes to bloods/crips because nikkas know the politics and dude ain't a threat..

moved to LA... and races don't mix pretty much at all in the hood...

I'd say with the gen z generation it's getting slightly better. I was in a cell with mexicans at twin towers and they was sharing food and all that. bytching about they baby momma all day. They were some smoker mexicans tho, prolly be different with actual bangers. The paisas don't really trip off black people either. I got moved to a cell with a breh long beach crip, a mixed dude and a paisa messican.
