In the song he claims that Hip Hop ain't a black thang and that Latino B-Boys in the Bronx laid the foundation for Hip Hop. He says this at 1:39 of the video. So... these Mexicans are really trying to claim Hip Hop as some Mexican/Latino shyt?

What's fukked up is... these racist Mexicans will start spreading this bullsh*t all over the Internet and people will start to believe it.

Black people have done all the work to make rap music and Hip Hop the Power house that it is. All the bullshyt that rap artist went through in the 80's with Rock & Roll, R & B and Pop artist saying that rap wasn't real music. All the bullshyt Public Enemy, NWA and 2 Live Crew went through in the late 80's and early 90's. But despite all of that Black people still kept making dope ass rap music. Black People still kept rap music growing and getting bigger and bigger.

But now... after all of that... these racist ass Mexicans got the f*cking nerve to say Hip Hop and Rap is not a Black thang and the Latino B-Boys are the ones that laid the foundation... so it belongs to them.

Man... these Mexicans are so full of sh*t!

No. He scoured the internet and saw that this is a hot button topic that will drive traffic. Others have cashed in on that traffic driving their views, so he's trying to do the same thing.

Really that simple. He doesn't have to believe what he's saying as long as he gets the desired effect =traffic, attention, views

I've always wondered how non-Black people cope with the fact that their favorite music (rap) was started not by them, but by Black people, a universally despised people.

And I've always figured that the way they cope with it is by saying it wasn't started by Black people but by Latinos.

Also, when people use the word Latino, they gotta realize that Latino/Hispanic is not a race but a political designation.

Allot of those people are actually Black.

Another interesting thing is that notice how he doesn't give a inkling of credit to Black people for starting Hip Hop

Its one thing to say that "Latinos were a part of the foundation" or saying it was created by "both latinos and black people"

but he's saying that it was an ENTIRELY Latino creation

like, this dude doesn't even have the decency to, at the very least, give some credit to Black people, he doesn't even want to do that

that's kind of deep when you think about it

Spike is high key jealous of Tarantino and I can see why QT got a better profile

So you would be cool with a white boy just calling you nikka to your face and you cant do shyt cause he is a connected hollywood jew?

Read spikes book or at least the excerpt where he addresses the beef...
But to me he hit back the only way he can without destroying everything he built...

P.s. that movie had spike on the bench for like years until inside man...

These dudes usually become fans due to some black artist (2pac, ice cube or Eazy E). They for damn sure know the person they’re listening to is black. They think that cholo gang shyt is their connection to hip hop.

Spike was more prolific but he def felt a way about Tyler coming out of nowhere so fast, grossing so much money, and being so popular among black folks. The same way he wishes he had the same adoration Tarantino does

And it ain't like he ain't had valid criticisms of both. But his approach is always that of a jealous, bitter hater

Again he talked shyt about the Academy for years only to jump in Samuel L Jackson's arms like a baby when he won that Oscar
. He talked shyt about Tyler Perry but everything was suddenly all good when Tyler opened his studio and named a soundstage after Spike. I guarantee you if Tarantino reached out to Spike to work Spike would trip over himself running out of the house

Spike presents like he's speaking out and being an activist but below that thin surface all he's ever wanted is nikkas to pat him on the back and acknowledge him. Kanye does the exact same shyt

You do know Quentin Tarantino worked with Spike Lee in his 1996 movie Girl 6....This was after he was the hottest director in Hollywood when Pulp fiction came out....spike ain't hate on him then....he just called him out after seeing him use the N-word so casually in his movies as the years went along....LIKE ALOT OF BLACK FOLK did. Based on what you saying about him he should be bashing Ryan Coogler right now, but he actually is working with him and mentoring him and other black directors.

Spike and Tyler perry squashed their beef, but he still holds the same views.....so do alot of black people. these statements ain't just come out the blue and spike lee for sure wasn't the first to say them.

You out here acting like Spike lee is a no name director.."pat him on the back"....are you serious?...there is a reason why Denzel, Samuel Jackson and Wesley Snipes all were there to give him his recognitions when he got that oscar.....and we ain't even talking about the impact he had with Michael Jordan + Nike.
