They don't want to be associated with the unpopular group (blacks) because they've been designated social pariahs and to do so would lower their social standing. They poke fun at black people, much like average kids poke fun at nerds/dweebs, because they 1. like having someone they're better than, 2. want the cool kids (whites) to accept them and 3. rather have the unpopular kids (blacks) being treated like shyt by the popular kids (whites) than to have the popular kids turn their attacks on them (other minority groups).
