its a good thing i didn't have any expectations. nintendo did their thing - i legit was hooked on mario kart 8 for like a month. sad that a lot triple a's got pushed back next year... but next year is gonna be so

The people that say this gen sucked only own one system. I own a PS4 and a Wii U and I have plenty of strong titles to play. You have to have realistic expectations with the first year of these consoles. Be patient, 2015 has some flame coming up.
Both Titanfall, and Sunset overdrive are the best new franchises to come out in a looooong time.

Anyways, this year hasn't been great IMO but I still enjoyed plenty of games. Just not many that came out this year.
I only have ps4. I have about 20-30 games. Im pretty satisfied. The kid me would be jealous. and its only about to get better

Those numbers are still based off of subjective shyt too though.
An aggregate of reviewers is the best we can get though. I can't think of anything more objective. It is still based on opinion, so there's that, but after 30 reviews things start to repeat, the good balance out the bad, etc. it's the best we have

Sheeeiiiit, they're no better than an aggregate of reviewers from this or other gaming forums. Hell, in some ways, they're worse, as their subjective views are often subjected to money-hatting and other shenanigans as well. You better off finding a clique of friends and like-minded individual gamers that share similar tastes with you and getting their consensus of what they think this game's value is worth and ranked than these websites duke. I know that concept may be a bit cumbersome from those whom are afraid of playing games online with others
