Show is dope as fukk.

no one is convincing me he isn’t the AntiChrist. He at the center of too much chaos. Him shooting that dog. No prayer no nothing was 100% confirmation something ain’t right with him. Jabril is the real messiah

I looked at Jabril as John the Baptist/Apostle like figure. Interesting point though.

Jabril the one who was truly selfless, been thru hell and back, lost everything and stripped himself naked to lead his people to the promise land. His vision of Al Masih giving him a gun was also a sign that Al Masih isn’t right imo. It’s too much vanity involved with dude and he doesn’t seem to mind the chaos he brings around him.

I doubt Jibril is the messiah. He's too clueless and confused. His Mother's death made him vulnerable and he's acting on faith on everything.

The other thing i have against Jibril is he's too easily influenced. He blindly followed Payam and was devoted from the start. Then he finds himself with the priests who are using him to spread their gospel because he's now a a highly regarded figure head and he goes along with it.

He's not sure of himself at all. He's in a vulnerable place and looking for anything and anyone to follow. And that's you messiah, @spliz ??? :what:

Fam he’s a kid and still tryna find his way. But at the same time he’s pure of heart. He’s the complete opposite of chaos. And it’s NATURAL. He don’t technically have to say anything. He makes statements with his actions. Al Masih loves the attention and vanity he gets. nikka walkin around swaggin on nikkas wit Nike and Adidas suits. H&M. Gettin mad attention and smiling for the cameras. Shooting dogs. Leaving people for dead. Etc etc. The vision Jibril had of Al Masih giving him the gun was a sign for him not to follow or wait for him imo.

I'm not saying Payam is he messiah quite yet. He clearly likes the attention. He revealed that when he picked out the exact picture he wanted Rebecca to follow which showed he was headed for DC.

What i'm saying i'd like to think that the "messiah" wont be some confused kid following anything and anyone that comes is wat like Jibril is.

That kid is definitely confused because he’s finding himself. But maybe after that explosion he has more of a revelation and is more sure of himself? One thing I know for sure is Jibril is good and pure of heart. Al Masih is pretty much a liar who loves attention. Also why would that terrorist guy say Al Masih is the dangerous one and be happy to follow his cause? That right there should let u know the type of person Al Masih is. I believe he does have supernatural abilities and isn’t only some trickster. But I also believe he has evil intent. If nothing else would make u believe that it should be the terrorist guy being his protege.

just completed it, overall, this show was shaping up to be weak and a let down then the the final three episodes made it more adventurous and compelling. It turned proper political rather than mystery/pseudo -religious etc.
The El massih character was all over the place at the end..no depth and levels to his character.

i m tired of the global political shyt with terrorism etc especially coming from a US production..so this ruined it.

The ending though just made me sigh!
