How do you find out your tier? Besides FB and Reddit, what are other good sites to promote

On the 'Manage' tab at the top it should show you how many uploads you have remaining. I've tried FB ads, but the return wasn't there. I don't have a FB page yet, I'm making sales entirely off keywords i.e. people searching on Amazon which is how most people are making sales also.

Cool. I was recently approved after 2/3 months wait and have already maxed out my uploads. I read up and I have to sell 25 shirts before I can add anymore.

I'm banking on keywords too as my social media presence is non-existent.

what's you guys keyword strategy? :jbhmm: @0xLaTeX @loki

there is a big debate in a lot of these Merch groups on whether it's better to use the "keyword stuffing" method where you just put keywords in the bullet points (ie halloween tshirt, women halloween tshirt, mens halloween tee shirt) or using complete sentences with 3-4 keywords in there?

ive used both of these methods and have gotten on the first page with both....ive also used a mix of both where i put keywords in the first bullet point and actual coherent sentences in the second with some success...i've seen brands like Marvel use straight up keyword stuffing on some of their shirts....what's you guys thoughts on it?
I use random words that relate to my shirt. Let's say i put up a shirt with a witch flying on a broom with a moon in the background. I'll put, evil lady in the sky tee, moonlight flight apparel, spooky costumed clothing. Just a lot of different words related to the shirt and different words for clothing.

I also always mention men, women, children, Christmas and gift.

and how do yall feel about putting all your stuff under one brand name?

on one hand i dont want all of my stuff to be in one place so copycats can just steal all my designs at their leisure...on the other hand if you get a bestseller customers can click on your brand name and cop more of your shyt..it might be harder to rank initially without having any keyword included in the brand name too...decisions
I haven't done it and I likely will never have all of my shirts under one brand name. Im worried about copycats. Already had one person steal 10 of my designs.

Most of my designs have two shirts under a brand name. I will likely change them in the future and put related niches under the same brand name and try the facebook/social media thing

So is there no way to deal with people stealing designs? Is it Wild West?

You can file for trademarks or issue a take down notice if someone else's design is almost identical to yours.

But a lot(A lot) of people just use different fonts, add a word or two and different colors to the top selling designs and they have no issue.

So yeah, there is quite a bit of copying on Amazon

Damn that's odd. Did you try logging in at merch.amazon.com? Sometimes people don't get emailed.

Update: Just sold my 25th shirt. Just waiting to be upgraded to 100 spaces from 10 now. I hope it happens soon in time for Halloween and Christmas.
Yup. All of that

had to send out a takedown notice this morning for 4 shirts on Amazon that were using one of my designs....they all had a BSR so that means they were actually getting sales off my shyt smh..i was getting sales too but i noticed that sales started to slow down a bit. did a quick search and i see that bs smh.

Amazon took it down in like 10 minutes but this is just a warning to yall...watch out for these copycats and dont hesitate to report they ass of you see them. some people will tell you not to and just ignore them but that's because they steal designs too.
