Got accepted into Merch by Amazon. The app said it would take 60 days but it took like 3, so maybe it's not a long wait right now.
Have about 30 shirts ready but only on T10 right now.

Uploaded a shirt as a test and got approved. Took it down and now have two shirts awaiting approval.
Doing this while also doing etsy/printful.

Does anyone have any good resources on keywords / writing descriptions?

I'm not in the t-shirt business but I saw this video and thought it was pretty cool:

Wikipedia and blogs have the best keywords. Target words like gift, birthday and apparel in your bullet points. Keep your listings under 250 characters. Price your shirts low until you get that initial sale then raise it up a couple dollars. Don't describe everything going on in the design. Dudes be havin titles like "Dabbing Persian Cat Doing The Milly Rock Premium Novelty Shirt." Use 3 words max to describe the design concept and that's it. Use the rest of that space for keywords related to your niche. The word "T-Shirt" covers tshirt, t shirt and shirt. Don't be repetitive. You should only be using the main keyword more than once in your brand, title and bullet points. Any other keyword? Only use it once or use a variation of it.

Yeah I'm crossing over from etsy and have done some keyword research over there.

Gift for her / gift for him / birthday gift / etc all have a lot of searches, but the competition is high. I gotta get on my grind and find the keywords that mix high search volume + low competition.

I'm going to hit up blogs / videos / etc. And did you mean wikipedia.com or a wiki for merch by amazon?

I also mass joined a bunch of facebook groups but so far just seems like people bytching and moaning,

Wikipedia.com and yea those Facebook groups are slowly turning into trash. I just blocked the admin of the main Merch group Chris Green last night and I'm thinking about leaving those groups completely. I suggest to just soak up whatever game you can and be out. Search for posts from Mark Boyd, RJ Martinez and Tara Vorkink Flake. They always drop good info.

You blocked Chris Green? I guess you aren't serious about your Merch business and you aren't interested in letting Merch dojo help you make millions off your passive t-shirt business

Just got upgraded to 500 tier :blessed:

recognize a real nikka when you see one hoe :blessed:
I need to sell a few before I get to the next tier.

Gotta start learning a new design program. The free one I was using is now at least 20 dollars a month and it's definitely not worth that price.

What tier you at right now? For some reason I feel like you're at 10k and not telling us lol

for designs i use Adobe Illustrator....havent found anything better. Gimp and Affinity for MacOS are cool if you're doing text and minimal graphics.

Lol, I am on the same tier as you. I should be at 1,000 tier in the next couple of days. Wish I was at 10k

I'm currently using gimp and photoshop a little. I'll have to start using illustrator
