Was on the plane en route to Miami from LAX last week and saw a brother rocking a HI TOP FADE!

The brotha was in his 50's!!! And it was clean too.

I remember when my waves looked like an ocean. Then one day the stop in the sink got pulled. Went from fades to a reverse fade, to having to shave it off.

Haha. This gentleman was a bit more light skinted. Plus, I'd assume BDK would be in first class.



But man, it was a real big look.


Like seeing a pegasus phantom in real time.



For the few times in my life i got out swagged. And it was a humbled experience. I bowed down supremely.



Always wanted a HTF since I was an adolescent in the late 80's/early 90's but can't... for obvious reasons (envied the brothas in class that had them... thought If i played with them more at recess, I could grow one by association. Didn't work too good).



Maybe when I'm reincarnated/next lifetime.

When I had hair the taper always made me look a lil more mature than the fade. In general I think the fade takes a couple years off you while the taper keeps you where you are or puts a couple on you.

In my 30s and more built now I'd prob rock w/ the fade though. If that were an option .

I’m not a fan of the high fade on men like in the OP actually… I will go with the taper…

yeah bald fades and tapers look weak to me but mid/drop fade with the waves and beard is the goat hair cut

I usually do the even steven with a 2 guard and a taper in the back,but the fade look cleaner and cleaner man.
