better low-light performance, cause flash ruins the effect.

Its not, man. Just look up some youtube videos to understand low-light performance, ISO, apeture, etc. If you get a little understanding of those principles, you can understand why some photos
look "bad" vs others looking good. Off top, my photos would look better with a 1.8-2.8 F-stop but those lenses are more expensive. Just understand how light works, the use of angles, rule of thirds,
and you already on your way to taking not-so mediocre photos.

I got the 50mm 1.8 manual lens on deck, but its not enough zoom. The 105 is ideal for portrait type photos.
