How is a brunch for people in the same industry lame exactly?

Breakfast, dinner, lunch, brunches and shyt are held all the damn time in every industry.

nikkas will go to clubs with people half their age, mean mug cause the ops might be there, pay for drinks and food. While simultaneously shytting on people having a civilized party with people with common interests and goals, getting served for free. Make that make sense
He just mad like the Madd Rapper cause he never got an invite......

He canceled it because the company was losing money and firing people left and right. Optics wouldn’t have made sense showing off an opulent party in the middle of all that

6:00 mins in for you, maybe you can wait at the front door and get a photo when people leave?

It’s because the host is black :mjlol:

Other industry parties and events don’t trigger people as much

I don’t get it.

95% of people there are probably not there for pictures with Jay-z. It’s a bunch of industry heavy hitters. It’s his good crab mentality ass that sees what he wants to see. These crab mentality cats are role models to so many fatherless crab nikkas like yourself in the hood, shyts kinda sad.

Like I said.

Dude just sounds like a regular ass c00n. He’s at all types of parties all the time, clubs, but a brunch he has problems with. Michael Rubin’s fanatics things is OK, but black owned businesses is losing. An employee of barstool tryna talk down on a black brunch sounds very on brand. :yeshrug:

Typical online echo chamber shyt

People are so dumb. A corporate brunch with rich dudes and their associates ain’t that serious.

Bleek is right.

The only other parties that got this much attention are the White Party (Rubin's), which was only a couple of years old, and Heff's party. Heff is dead, and Rubin's party was routinely mocked for it's acknowledgement of what it is. There's no other industry party with as much fanfare, because it's pretty much always about the look, than actual participation. It's bragging rights, nothing more. The award show parties that people attend (which most complain about while having to attend), are simply ego strokes for the suits to keep working. The stars don't go to the ones that aren't mandatory, as informed to them by their teams.

As for other types of industry events, the big names have to sponsor seats, they come and show their faces to those that matter, then leave. They don't need to network because they already know the folks that are there that matter. They also designate staff to go to the event, voluntold style. For the underlings, there's very little networking done at those events because you're pretty much always a a table or section with your company.

If it's a party that other people are simply excluded from, just present it as it is. But you don't mascaraed it as some big networking opportunity when most of the people in attendance aren't even allowed in the rooms where the conversations are held, then get triggered when those call it out for that. I don't think calling it out necessarily is hating. But it also really all depends.
