Definitely didn't age well. Sounds too vanilla nowadays. Still very solid though.

The only album that really shocked me hearing it the first time....I didnt had to grow on me...I liked it from the first listen...

Yeah looking back there were better albums...but...well...GODDAMMMN this shyt was hot in 2001

It's an iconic moment, but not an album I go back to.

back then, my favorite was maybe Momma Loves Me, now it's probably Never Change, those are probably the strongest two to me.

My Jay era, is his first 5 albums. He lost something and gained way more around 2001. His lyrics got a little too shaky when you are looking back in time, with all the perspective of twenty plus years. He lost that edge. His style shifted into a new era.
