off topic why don't they advertise WWE network on other channels? why only during WWE broadcasts?

i mean maybe i'm overvaluing the WWE brand, but couldn't they gain even a little by having these commercials air during football maybe? i think the idea of having the classic archives might appeal to older casual fans, even if they only keep it for like a month or two.

They did when it started up. Usually on Turner networks, ironically enough. I'm sure NBC Universal doesn't really want to air ads for the platform that their biggest cable ratings getter is trying to build up enough to be able to leave television completely.

I feel like its two seperate products tied to the same brand. The target of the WWE network is old fans and people just getting into wrestling finding something that makes them remember the good old days or catch up with stuff as well as all the big events. Besides Raw and Smackdown themselves which are on NBC Universal promote the network
