It’s obvious Meltzer is an AEW shill — for good reason, his business is more successful with another large promotion. But just like the wwe the majority of aew is dogshyt man. In a lot of ways worse because the wwe is beholden to the shareholders/board aew is bad because Tony khan is a fukking idiot. The people that should theoretically critiquing aew are too busy pretending everything they do is great because it’s not wwe.

bunch of guys doing shyt with no direction no angles no stories. Why wouldn’t I watch MMA? Why wouldn’t I watch the Olympics? There are backyard wrestling feds with better storytelling and better booking.

The problem with wrestling media is that it only works if the companies play along. The more these journalists get called out the more their business dies. Meltzer loves AEW because they hired his friends and go along with his bullshyt, Vince doesn't have time for Meltzer's garbage and the wrestlers themselves are getting sick of all these outlets making up/constantly leaking shyt. Britt gushing blood wondering if her match would get 5 stars from Meltzer, and Charlotte simply shaking her head no in response to the question on if Meltzer's ratings mean anything shows the difference between the 2 companies.

The 90s, What has he done to make you think he still gives a fukk now? Vince currently has 4 billion dollars in business deals, so he's not concerned with what Meltzer thinks. I do not believe Vince McMahon gives a shyt about Meltzer although I'm sure he gets pissed when big plans leak out. I was referring more to talent, but HHH very much cared about what Meltzer had to say when he was running NXT.

Even the talent doesn't care, Seth Rollins basically laughs at all the dirtsheet reporters. The ones who I could see caring are the super marks. I agree about HHH and that's why he got his shyt took. He went too indy which is why NXT couldn't sellout arenas, and why a lot of his people outside of the ones with character survived the main roster.
