How is speculating that a talent is going to be used as a manager "bad" especially if said talent is pretty small and not what they like to push.

But at the end of the day it's just his view and his best guess on a situation and how it will play out if you take any wrestling rumor outside of that than your setting your self up everytime:yeshrug:

He was reporting it as if he knew exactly what WWE wanted out of him on the main roster. Claiming it was either Vince is Pritchard that planned it for him, only to realize it was all a lie. It's not his view, or a guess. He straight up reported bullshyt information that painted wwe in a bad light once again.

“The idea would be kind of like a Lio Rush / Bobby Lashley thing, where you have this little guy who’s a big talker, and he hides behind this big, massive African American guy type of a thing,” Meltzer said. “So that was kind of the dynamic they were looking for for him, more as a manager than a wrestler.”

Meltzer noted that the idea came from either WWE Chairman Vince McMahon or WWE head writer Bruce Prichard. He had heard from one source that it was McMahon’s idea while another said it was Prichard’s, but he noted that he did not hear that it came from the creative team.

And look at the idiots in the comment section believing it too..

In that case NXT has looked bad it's whole run ..most of the talent that came from there was booked horribly. One title win doesn't prove anything look how everyone was presented the focus wasn't really on Ciampa it was more Steiner and the other younger talent. He may be more of transitional champ.

Fam giving your interpretation of how a character is/going to be is not making anyone look bad. He giving people a frame of reference.

Just say you don't mess with dirtsheets and keep it moving but pointing out every time they get something wrong is a huge waste of time:russ:

No one treats them like gospel outside of few strange cats online there nothing more than a rumor mill and match review source.

That wasn't his interpretation though.

I don't understand why you're finding this difficult to understand.

He attempted to tell the internet wrestling community "this is what WWE wants out of him", not "this is what may they want" or "this is what I think they want."

This is what he said word for word. No guessing, no assumption, he knows it was bullshyt. He's been called out for years and he still continues to spew bullshyt. He got people to believe this is what WWE wants because he said and typed it out so confidently. If you want to continue to attempt to think Davey boy is just making speculations out there and continue to let him get away with it then go ahead. There's no saving you now lol

A transitional champion is someone who wins it from one babyface (or heel) just to move it over to another babyface (or heel)... not winning a match where the title is vacant and could've just been one of the other three guys in it. The belt being vacant in the first place would've been the transition.

So if he loses the belt in short order to one of the young cats that they are building what kinda title reign would you call it

Because no one took this as damaging to WWE outside of few people who live on Twitter. It's not that serious
