Ok here's the deal and this is coming from basic VKM logic. He doesn't release people he fears might shine elsewhere and especially if that elsewhere matters hence why Brodie Lee was kept hostage for so long, FTR too etc...
now with Andrade, I'm positive that Charlotte stepped in and so did Ric Flair and the only way Vince agreed on a mutual and verbal agreement is that Andrade does not show up in AEW before the actual date of his contract expiry.
He's fine with him going to ROH, no one cares about ROH not even the 300 fans they have left and neither does Vince and Andrade will keep his word, his fiancee vouched for him. So he most likely doesn't show up at AEW before his real contract expiry and then we can talk about it.
Mind you, he could show up tomorrow too

Woulda been better off saying AEW not gonna sign him cuz he not a lightskinned black dude (still wouldn't be accurate, but at least we're getting warmer). By my count, more brehs than non-brehs got signed in the last 10 months or so.

He and QT Marshall (another guy who is wasting TV time) are trainers so they aren't going anywhere. They can pad their records on Dark but they shouldn't be on Dynamite unless they're catching a fade.
AEW needs to focus on what they have first before signing more male wrestlers. They need to let some of these guys like Ethan Page, Starks, Darby, Archer, Hobbs, etc. cook. If they're looking to add talent, it should be on the women's side.
