it goes like this
the more games you win , the better your seeding is
the better your seeding is..you better you chance to advance to a conference championship game or the finals and maybe win a title

I wanted to inform you of this because I am sure you being a Knicks fan you arent aware of how winning titles goes

:mjlol: You argued that they'll be healthy enough to beat NY, as if that means they'll win the title. How has that worked out in the last 3 seasons? Rose and Noah ain't gettin' it done, even if they stay healthy, which is unlikely (and certainly not this coming season, considering they'll both be coming off of injuries and Rose already said he's unsure about his health, which is just :snoop: at this point).

my argument is the Bricks are a mere stepping stone...and for the record I didn't say i believe Rose will be 100% but clearly we dont need him to be in order to beat the Knicks

:why: No, beating NY is not a stepping stone to a title. Health is. You can sweep NY 'til times get better, but until Chiraq gets healthy and more good players, y'all ain't winnin' no titles. :comeon:

health being a stepping stone literally makes no sense. health is needed for any team in any sport but no fan or organization can predict health..do the Bulls need better players..they need A better player who can take pressure off Rose or whoever the PG is in terms of shot creating and spacing- so that part I do agree with you on. but the Knicks need A WHOLE lot of better players. Look, I am just effing around and I dont hate Melo ( altho I do hate the Knicks) but he is full of shyt, he wanted the $ and he got it but as it stands..even with Melo, the knicks are further away from a title than Chicago is

I Look at the Bulls roster as not that talented....I see excellent coaching that maximizes the limited talent. Getting Pau was a good pick-up but the rest of the squad is aite at best talent wise, Jimmy play hard but he a role player, same with Taj...I love Joakim but he's a Hustle player that has maximize his talent. D rose is no Better the Amare at this point health wise...If you can say McDermott gonna be nice why can't I say Early going to be nice? Chicago front office known for not wanting to spend money...Dolan down to spend whatever. If you think the Bulls Is the Better team that's cool but don't come like it's crazy for me to think the Knicks can be better...then that's when i Know it's hate[/QUOTE]

It being a stepping stone makes plenty of sense when you haven't had it for at least 3 years straight. You have to crawl before you walk. You need more than 1 more good player because neither your franchise player, nor your defensive anchor can stay on the floor.

The healthy version of a 54 win team doesn't “need a whole lot of better players”. An upgraded 54 win team, with Phil, the triangle, imminent cap space, a large market to display your talent (see Lin and Cope) that will draw people, a franchise player who has never had any major below-the-waist injuries (who will draw people more than the market will), the imminent availability of free agents like Marc Gasol and Rondo (you don't need a play-maker of his caliber for the Triangle but his defense would be great), etc is a far cry from being further away from contending than you, with or without a healthy Rose and Noah.

How did he want the $? Because he didn't come from 1 bad knee situation (Amaré), to an even worse one? Because he should have left all that I named off in the paragraph just above this one? He'd rather lose because he didn't leave Phil? Is that your final answer?:laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff:
