Yeah they have to beg for money. They get a basic allowance from the king to sustain their lives but they live in ran down palaces or cottages. It’s not the life people think it is for people who are not first in line. When William had his children, Harry was just used as a representative for the monarchy. He was no longer given any special privilege. Just like Charles brothers and sisters. Once he had William and Harry, his siblings didn’t matter anymore. They were just supposed to fulfill their roles as working royals and get the handouts.
Not that their life was so terrible compared to the lives of the British people that family continues to rob each year. Receiving hundreds of millions of dollars from taxpayers for no reason or even the lives of their tenants who live with mold and terrible living conditions yet still have to pay rent for their homes on “royal land”. Charles and William are slumlords.
It’s not the fancy life people think it is. In fact Harry was happy to breakaway from it and he has shown that. The hate Meghan and his child received and the lack of compromise from his father was the perfect excuse for him to leave.
