Anyway,

The people that identify closely with one another and share a similar lineage create the group and determine what it means to be a member of that group.

Then black doesn't exist.

Maybe you don't know history that well but people in Africa have never indentified with one another based on skin color before Europeans came along.

Before that people were just whatever tribe or ethnic group they were born into. And in Africa there were thousands of tribes and ethnic groups. There was no such thing as BLACK.

Once again, like I said, you have no logical ground to stand upon to argue that the category of "BLACK" exists but the turn around and say we cannot look to the society we live in to define who is "BLACK".

Megan Markle is either "BLACK" or nobody is "BLACK". You can't argue that she isn't black but such as thing as black exists.

cause she said in an article when she was a little girl a teacher passed the paper out to every student and they had to check off whether there was black or white

Mixed kids typically become more black as they grow.

I don't know what she looked like as a kid. But right now as an adult she looks like a light skin black woman to me.

Just because some people thinks she's white don't mean that's how most people see her. And regardless, even if Megan Markle did look completely white, that's doesn't mean other mixed race people aren't considered BLACK in this society.

Most mixed race kids look black which is why in this society they are typically considered black.

The concept of blackness did not exist before slavery. Same with the concept of whiteness. Both are nothing more than social construct.

Before the 1500s, people only grouped themselves based on tribe, ethnicity, or religion. Nobody was grouped based on skin color.
