there's no proof that she was afraid of backlash tho.Possibly, she wanted to clear the air because everybody else was enforcing the belief they were a couple and she got annoyed (cause it's not true) and felt the need to say something.
I'm most likely never going to have sex with her, or be in her presence, and she'll be replaced with the next pretty thing in a few years anyway. So I don't really care regardless.
