You're first point is true, though that can be written off as hearsay, much like Nicki's claims of Meg telling her to go to the clinic after offering her alcohol.

Pardison is primarily known as a writer for a reason. Dude just lacks charisma. Actually listening to the song, it is well-written with clever bars throughout, but dude's delivery is the cure to insomnia. That, and he was fighting a losing battle from the beginning due to hiss lesser star power, Megan striking first, and social media automatically being on her side from jump.
