Not sure how everything works like that, I know Roc is a major or is it also a indie company. Not sure who’s their distributor or what other labels it’s under.

Roc Nation is management company that also has a label arm if i’m not mistaken. You can sign to them for management, to the label, or both. Megan is managed by Roc Nation but not under the label arm so she’s technically indie but still gets mainstream distribution because of her management.

Sounds like a good deal on paper but of course we don’t know what her management splits are. I’d guess their favorable seeing as she told 1501 to kiss her ass and stood on business when it came to the litigation.
