Actually, many of us think that this is a terrible idea, just for different reasons. Forget all this talk about her getting hurt - it's football. Everybody can get hurt. It's the fact that she's a TERRIBLE football player, and that does women no favors.

I'm all about Toni securing the bag, especially if she can get a college education out of it. Not to mention that there used to be a lot of hand wringing over women going to the Citadel, women joining the infantry, and so on. But my problem is that if we are going to have this discussion, she is not the football player to have it about. Find somebody who can actually play first. Find somebody who can put up some good numbers. THEN let's have a discussion about how fukking stupid this idea is.

Most dudes in college aren’t going to straight up hit stick her and try to hurt her because they don’t wanna be the dude known for damn near killing the first female football player.

So she might be able to somewhat survive at the collegiate level.

If she somehow made it to the pros where millions are line and coaches are pressuring players to go all out...she will get hurt the first play of the game unless they scheme to protect her. But in that case they are basically playing 11 on 10.
