most those portuguese african actually have portuguese first AND last names and they all speak Portuguese. and these counties like Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde tend to have a higher mulatoo class than other countries. You don't see that in francophone countries. There has not even been that many african leaders with nonafrican partners but there ones that did, were all educated and lived in the west.
in most francophone african countries(besides Ivory Coast and Cameroon), the average person still speak their native tongue.
