Get over it breh, socialism is inevitable. Our current system is extremely primitive and it essentially demands for humans to act like inferior animals that aren't capable of using reason. Not everything has to make a profit. Not all profits are good. Not all innovations made to increase profits margins benefit our species.
We have evolved from the Savannah so don't act like you're still there.
This woman has a PhD in economics. She's not some internet socialist. Have you read any of her work/research or considered that she might be aware of your arguments already?
If you want to take it there socialism defies natures survival of the fittest. Does the strongest lion hunt for the weakest so the entire pride can be average?
Actually our closest relatives (bonobos) are pretty egalitarian in their social relations. Nothing like a pride of lions. And nature doesn't simply run on "survival of the fittest." Things like intelligence evolved through intense social interaction and cooperation, not mere, individual selection.

To the capitalist, that means they might have to own one less home or get a smaller yacht if they pay the labor a living wage.
