Nas had a dope verse and Meek tried but he isn't the type of artist to try to carry beats like this. He doesn't have the presence on the mic like Ross has to cover up his lack of depth as an artist and he isn't a lyricist on the level of Nas. This didn't turn out as good as I would have imagined with the beat, Legend hook, Nas feature, and name of the song.

Meek probably got the best verse on the track.... and I fukk with dude but I'm also starting to feel like once you heard one of his verses, you heard em all.

John Legend would've been aight if he weren't doing the same shyt he done on 2 or 3 Ross joints already.

Nas can do better than this. I zoned out listening to Ross, again he ain't bringing nothing new with this shyt. Overall, they using the same formula and it's cool but nothing inspiring or too original.

First time I heard Ross on Tears Of Joy... I was feelin the fukk out of it... some new original shyt.... not getting that with the latest MMG shyt.

yeah this is kinda how i feel. i liked meeks verse, it was good, its just that its the same exact shyt he been doing on every other song. nas verse was cool, but after all the tracks he beasted on in the past year it just seems a little underwhelming. ross was just saying whatever, not bad, not great just ross. truthfully this track would have been better with another meek mill verse to finish it off cause overall it just feels like it needed something extra
