I have no concrete proof of drake not penning
his own material.
what i do have proof of is a emotional nikka
that kicked shyt off because a man didnt tweet
his album,a nikka that rap about slanging and
killing cheesing like a chosen bytch on stage with nicky,
a nikka that stole a flow and lingo from the south/midwest
(since were talking about being authentic)
a nikka that is on his way to becoming the new joe budden
because everytime he has sand in his p*ssy he's on
twitter screaming about his discomfort.

Drake pointed out that Meek is opening for his girl--thats $50k+ a night, and every current rapper in the world, minus Drake, Cole, & Kendrick would be opening for Nicki, Drake makes more but let's not act like this is a real life loss for Meek. It might fukk with him slightly that his girl is a bigger star, but that's a rich person problem, and one that we'd all kill to have.

Drake points out that Meek tweets a lot and calls him a snitch, which is him admitting that he has ghostwriters, and lets be clear, this isn't even close to the same thing as snitching, though I don't like the idea of putting another person's livelihood in jeopardy even if it's someone like Drake who is already filthy rich. 4 tracks have leaked since then showing Quentin Miller has written substantial amounts of music for Drake, anyone denying that doesn't understand hip-hop, songwriting, etc.

Meek questions Drake's credibility in the streets, which is pretty interchangeable with his credibility in hip-hop. We all know Drake has never had any credibility here, people were willing to overlook this because Drake makes some really good music, but now we find out that he may not have written a great deal of that.

Meek calls Drake out on Puffy smacking him and TI's boy pissing on him. Real life shyt here that hurts a man's pride and self-esteem. Retaliation against Puff could've possibly led to blackballing, and who knows what TI's boy is capable of, so I can understand why Drake didn't respond, with that said these are both inescapable losses, no way to spin this into any kind of W, these are both take ur L and keep moving situations if you're not about that life. We all know Drake is not.

But Drake is winning this hands down? Makes sense in 2015

Anyone who knows me can tell you that I prefer Drake's music to Meek's, and I'm from Philly, but being as objective as I can be, the charges Meek's levied against Drake SHOULD be far more damaging than what Drake's thrown at Meek. Sad state of affairs for hip-hop/rap.

You clearly dont understand what wins when it comes to disses and the general public. What you said is absolutely correct if you want to break it down, but thats not what wins in the eyes of the general public when it comes to diss records.

A) The shyt needs to be memorable with punch lines that people can turn into jokes. Meek's diss didnt do that at all. People arent reciting actual lines from his joint, they are just recalling that he spoke about Diddy and getting pissed on. On the other hand people can easily remember and laugh at "Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers, you getting bodied by a singing nikka".

B) It needs disses that the general public can decipher and are familiar with. Once again Meek spoke on some things that the general public had no idea was true or not. Inside jokes are only funny to people on the inside. Drake brings up Meek opening up a tour for his girlfriend, and speaking on the fact that everyone knows Meek aint ever going on a world tour without her. And he brings up that point in another memorable line "Is that a world tour or your girls tour?".

C) Is it radio friendly, is it catchy? Meek, hell no. Half of the diss is a reference track and the other half is him yelling mumbles of inside disses. Drake, yep. I been hearing DJ's screaming they bout to go back to back when they playing two songs of another artist. Its people up here at work talking about they about to go back to back doing shots later on.

The general public is not doing an in depth break down of a diss to determine who is the winner. People want to hear something that has them like :ooh: , :leon:,and :russ: not :beli:.

Drake is losing this and will lose this!! People are just being emotional right now. At the right time the realization of who they're backing will take effect, and then they'll have to accept they followed a human urinal...this some sad shyt, for them:usure:tho
Thats the only thing you Meek stans bringing up tho?
There is no way you can tell me you enjoyed the meek diss. Charged up want even all that but Meek didn't even come Back To Back hard

Yeah
given that we got three more reference tracks. i think @Christopher browns was right about this one:

But get it while you here boy
'Cause all that hype don’t feel the same next year boy
Yeah and I’ll be right here in my spot with a little more cash than I already got
Tripping off you 'cause you had your shot
With my skin tanned and my hair long
And my fans who been so patient, me and 40 back to work but we still smell like a vacation
Hate the rumours, hate your bullshyt
Hate these fukking allegations, I’m just feeling like the throne is for the taking
Watch me take it!

read that shyt in big sean's voice. it's almost indisputable to me brehs.
It's pretty clear Breh

The main problem is Meek fired his best shot over twitter. The ghostwriting shyt lost it's steam by having reference tracks come out before the diss. Think how crazy folks would've gone if the ghostwriting shyt was heard for the first time in the song. It's kind of like how Nas took the steam out of Jay revealing he was hitting Carmen by just going on the radio and putting it out there hisself. Took the sting out of SuperUgly.

Finally heard this. Hate to say it but Drake won this . Meek don't sound like himself in this , like he dropped his lyrics high in the middle of the night.

And I hate when diss records use a lot of random clips from movies to try to pump the shyt up. Only thing good about this is that he used Undertaker's theme as a sample.

The meek diss was better than charged up...charged up was boring as fukk, wit them dry ass jabs..."oh, he so clever the way he named it charged up and came so laid back"...no nikkas, he came laid back cuz he can't come no other way...this is beef nikka. That's the problem with you drake nikkas, you all like that passive aggressive, cynical, sarcastic bull shyt...but that shyt will get you slapped the fukk up in real life..."oh Drakes so clever" no he just gave pussies a place for shelter in hip hop temporarily, I don't give a shyt if he keep makin music and ya'll keep eatin his p*ssy, I NOW KNOW HIS SHYT IS SEPARATE FROM THE REAL SHYT I AM AND LOVE...facts:aicmon:
