Meek has some solid jabs for Aubrey but the delivery and song were so poor it's all for naught.

before any of this I thought meek looked suspect for chasing nicki around kissing and bragging and shyt.

but coming from drake, the guy who's built a career off of simping, and has professed his love for nicki on multiple occasions, it just comes off as some jealous hating ass shyt to me. And in reality most of us would love to be in meeks position in regards to nicki, beta or not.

Which is the bigger L, opening up for nicki minaj and smashing when you get home, or getting smacked by puff and pissed on by tips homie?

you're assessing the situation from the position of a regular nikka, off course most would like to be in meek's position with nicki. but he ain't exchanging with a regular nikka, he's exchanging with arguable the biggest rapper currently and although drake has professed his love for nicki most people never took that serious, hell, nicki herself hasn't and has said in interviews they play like that not to mention the several instances where they are up close and personal with each other. the whole "would love to be in meek's position" does not really work with someone that is a bigger draw than him. also, meek didn't use drake's simping on the diss, not to a competent level at least.

and sure me and you, enthusiasts on a hip-hop forum, might dissect things and say "well i'd rather be the beta counterpart in the relationship and still fukk nicki when i get home (which is simp like behavior, nikkas willing to put morals and beliefs aside just to fukk a good looking woman, which in itself is ironic since drake is criticized for being the simp) than being smacked by diddy and pissed on by tip's friend, but again, do you think the general public gives a fukk about shyt that has to be verified and is not readily identifiable? especially in the low attention span era that we find ourselves in? that is not how you cripple someone popular like drake, def not with inside jokes

meek's angles were all wrong

Drake pointed out that Meek is opening for his girl--thats $50k+ a night, and every current rapper in the world, minus Drake, Cole, & Kendrick would be opening for Nicki, Drake makes more but let's not act like this is a real life loss for Meek. It might fukk with him slightly that his girl is a bigger star, but that's a rich person problem, and one that we'd all kill to have.

Drake points out that Meek tweets a lot and calls him a snitch, which is him admitting that he has ghostwriters, and lets be clear, this isn't even close to the same thing as snitching, though I don't like the idea of putting another person's livelihood in jeopardy even if it's someone like Drake who is already filthy rich. 4 tracks have leaked since then showing Quentin Miller has written substantial amounts of music for Drake, anyone denying that doesn't understand hip-hop, songwriting, etc.

Meek questions Drake's credibility in the streets, which is pretty interchangeable with his credibility in hip-hop. We all know Drake has never had any credibility here, people were willing to overlook this because Drake makes some really good music, but now we find out that he may not have written a great deal of that.

Meek calls Drake out on Puffy smacking him and TI's boy pissing on him. Real life shyt here that hurts a man's pride and self-esteem. Retaliation against Puff could've possibly led to blackballing, and who knows what TI's boy is capable of, so I can understand why Drake didn't respond, with that said these are both inescapable losses, no way to spin this into any kind of W, these are both take ur L and keep moving situations if you're not about that life. We all know Drake is not.

But Drake is winning this hands down? Makes sense in 2015

Anyone who knows me can tell you that I prefer Drake's music to Meek's, and I'm from Philly, but being as objective as I can be, the charges Meek's levied against Drake SHOULD be far more damaging than what Drake's thrown at Meek. Sad state of affairs for hip-hop/rap.

Meek's delivery is subpar

Meek went about this shyt the wrong way. You don't randomly jump on Twitter and start going on rants for no reason. Nobody likes a nikka that catch feelings out the blue when you used to pretend to be cool. "But Hip Hop" aint a good enough excuse to the average nikka either.Combined with all the simping he doing for Nicki and yeah he caught a L.

But drake had a weak first track too so Meek gets another shot.

I'm honestly not a fan of either one of these dudes, but the reference tracks kinda had me fukkin wit Meek.

But I just heard this Meek shyt, and the reality is Back to Back is the best song that's been dropped.

Meek shyt was barely better than Charged Up. He was slurring his words and the skits and shyt made it lame, shoulda just been straight spittin the whole way thru. Like people said he shoulda dropped some shyt like Exodus.

This beef is over. Meek shoulda came way harder than he did. If he dropped this right after Charged Up he would be decent, but he needed to drop something that was better than Back to Back and he failed.

I do think all these random corporations and politicians commenting on this rap beef is suspect af tho.

I swear this shyt is too funny. Nikkas in here caping for 2 clowns. They aint even beefing over nothing serious. They like 2 school girls fighting over a seat in the cafeteria. They both lost. Drake for being the fake clown, that everybody who actually watched and listened to him knew he was, and Meek lost because he let that clown shine on his ass, and he tweeting like a scorned woman. Im not buying a Drake or Meek cd anyways.
I don't care who wrote what, how tough you claim to be, how fake you are, how popular you are, who you clicked up with, or none of that. If the music is good i'll listen. If it aint..:camby:

Some of yall nikkas r way too invested in this shyt...
