"Meek came up battling," they said. "He does this, "they said.:heh:Like I said before, a loud, animated street dude might win a battle on the corner due to his theatrics and his nikkas hyping up his foolishness, but when you dropping records, folks are actually trying to hear what you got to say

Meek is an idiot. Talking about drake got peed on. nikka you can't just drop some far fetched gossip and expect people to believe you. The beauty of ether's jokes was that they were believable. Every ugly joke Nas made about Jay, you just nodded your head and said "yea he is ugly", "lol yea he do got whiskers", "lol camel". Even when Pac said he fukked faith , you looked at biggie's fat ass and said "yup she probably did fukk Pac" and there were pics of her looking horny af for some thug dikk

"World tour/girl's tour", "Twitter fingers", funny because they're true. But a nikka getting peed on in a theater?:childplease:
:camby:Back to the lab.

MMG could atleast align themselves with meek in this situation. I mean you don't have to be on the record but atleast ride with your artist.

What in the holy fukk are you talking about?

Reference track is battle rapping now?
I thought it was a prop to start the battle...

he killing him with facts.

as a battle rapper the biggest exposal is having proof that someone don't write their own lyrics .

battle rap is hip hop culture .

ever heard of summer jam? hip hop all about exposing frauds. ever watched url.....

watch drake never go on url again ..hes a lyrical fake n would get clowned.

drake got better lyrics but can never really win(ghostwriter) in the hip hop world....but he has pop rap-social media on lock down.

When we see credits though, we don't know what that person did. Was it a verse or just a hook? Or did they help out with the beat? Then of course you got names on the credits who didn't do anything on the actual song, they worked on the song that this song sampled from. My point is just seeing names on the credits tells you very little.

True if you disliked him before you still will. And a large portion of his fans don't care, although I believe some actually do and were caught off guard by this. It's more about respect though. How do his peers who were unaware look at him now, especially true lyricists? I've been in this hip hop culture for a long time and there have been rappers who came and went who I might not necessarily be a fan of, but at least I respect their body of work as their own creation.
Imo, I hope he never does this again and that it was basically just for the mixtape. However for me as I interpret things. Is that back in the days producers and your closest people helped you, with Drake it's mostly the same but now he also has QM. Hopefully that's just a minor mistake cause this was a mixtape where he was trying some shyt (that didn't work imo, except know yourself). So I can forgive that shyt and other people who care might forgive it as well, if his next album contains no additional writers except the ovo executives and producers.

One strike and you're out is not my style specially not when an extremely vast majority is your own shyt. Just like Barry Bonds is still a great player despite his last seasons. Or A-rod is still great as well. If he keeps on doing it cause sheep ass fans consumption of music is Inelastic with regarss to biting then we have a problem.
