All i know is, it's hard coming up and executing new flows and hooks...

I thought Drake was special when it came to that..

only to find out he has had extensive help?.....Asterisk my nikka....I have nothing invested in this, just real talk

That was probably my biggest disappointment as well, I've never listened to a Drake song in my car so I've never felt him like that, but I do appreciate the hooks and flow.

That being said, the whole ghostwriter thing is overblown..not a secret/cover up that ppl think it is.

And the thing is... Back to back really wasn't that good. It really wasn't that disrespectful. Meeks girl is more popular than him.. Okay so what?

Meek should have taken another day or 2

Back to back did it's job for me - it has quotables perfect for the social media generation so that was where the impact was gonna be and it did the job because Meek's looking like a buffoon on social media right now. As much as he can say he doesn't care about social media, 'Twitter fingers' is what got him into this in the first place. On top of the fact that Drakes delivery sounded like something that could get a response in the club and you've got something that already resonates with the people Drake was aiming for. Straight up battle bars wasn't gonna do it.

I'm so confused with the moves Meek's making though. When the twitter fingers were going he had to have known the reaction was going to be big - I thought with him being so reckless, he was ready for the war but ain't prepared at all. He might have something mind blowing on deck but I don't know.

IMO drake has played this as perfectly as he could. He's letting Meek make himself look like a buffoon which is distracting everybody from the main issue - the ghost writing accusations.

meek lost ..

he had good material but he didn't craft it correctly.
he was in a catch 22 by with whether to wait to drop it or rush it.
only 1/3 of the drake diss track is about drake cause he don't have enough bars.
track just proved drake is on another level than meek.

this

meek has/had all the ammo and he just doesnt seem to understand the difference between battling on wax and battling on a street corner in person

there's def a part 2 it tho, but if drake's 3rd diss is on some straight up b-rabbit shyt what else is meek gonna say

i cant believe dude still made rollie references lol, money is not the angle you wanna play in this my g, stick to your strengths

Definitely an asterisk if we talking about putting drake in the nas, jay, big, pac, rakim conversation.

No one was talking about that though. This is one of the funniest things about the whole situation, nikkas talking about, "See now nobody can mention him with the greats." nikka, no one was mentioning him with the greats.

Lol. Yes people are. And the sprite billboard with him and the legends? Even the corporations want people to view him that way.
