I honestly don't know why people and the media saying Drake is up 2-0. Well I do know, they want to give the victory prematurely to Drake. They are thinking he's up 2 cause he dropped 2 Disses (In the same week, lol). Actually they are wrong People seem to want to not give Drake an L for the "10 Bands" Reference". Because again they want to excuse Ghostwriting but he doesn't get off that easy :

Round 1:

Meek - "Drake don't write your raps" (Flex confirms it with 10 Bands reference)
Drake - Charged Up

Meek > Drake

"Charged Up" was Drake's response to the Meek saying he doesn't write and the Reference track. "10 Bands Reference" was technically the 1st Diss record of the beef cause it confirmed Meek's cliam and set the whole internet on fire. "Charged Up" got a lukewarm reponse and Meek Dismissed it cause it was weak. This forced Drake back into the studio and did sometihng that never happen in HIp Hop HIstory dropping 2 disses in the same week. Drake rushed Round 2 cause he took an L in round 1. Then Meek Drops a video with Nicki and does a show in Drake's own City with a Big "F*ck You" banner. Next Drake hurries up and Drops another diss with "Back to Back" which is funny cause if "Charged Up" did it's job he wouldn't of had to rush out a 2nd diss in the same week.

Round 2:

Drake - Back to Back
Meek: Tonight

Plus Meek has NEVER had the type of attention on his career. #1 album, mainstream interviews, Nicki relationship etc. People seem to want to say:

Round 1:
Drake - Charged Up
Drake - Back to Back

People doing that again want to give Drake a pass for "10 Bands Reference" as if that's not an L. So Meek can do more damage tonight than people think. Philly is the home of underdogs.

Why people keep saying drake gonna drop the real bomb in the next diss?

What else can he say bout Meek that he didn't say in Back to Back?

Exactly. He played his hand already. At most he could come with some more slick talk and a better cadence but he'll be saying the same thing. Plus the media already got involved to the maximum for back to back. Anything else is redundant and repetitive to save face. Like I've been saying, meek has lots of cards to play.

Pfeiffer: Meek Mill feud with Drake 'brilliant marketing'

And while Drake seems to have won the first two battles, former senior adviser to President Barack Obama Dan Pfeiffer suggests that Philadelphia rapper Meek might have actually won something better.

“I am ambivalent on Meek Mill as a rapper,” Pfeiffer, a CNN Political Commentator tweeted, “but baiting Drake into a week long feud just as his album dropped is brilliant marketing.”

Pfeiffer, whose expertise includes political strategy, suggests that Meek might have benefited from the high profile spat that he initiated because it brought a wave of attention to his latest album “Dreams Worth More Than Money,” which was released a week before the public feud began.

Meek Mill is trending on Twitter and Facebook in light of the feud. And Meek’s album, as well as his newly released video “All Eyes On You” Monday, featuring Minaj and Chris Brown, have gained publicity from the coverage of the battle with Drake, who is widely popular.

Toronto City Councillor Norm Kelly also weighed in on the feud, slamming Meek for accusing the Canadian star of employing ghost writers.

We got politicians commentating on rap beef now

"It makes sense (cents), he became a star by paying fake dues (jews)"

That's a line I may have heard from the meek track or have completely made up :wow:

drake got burger kings/macys/ basically corporate AMer$ica on his side

coincidence that twitter stock fell days before this "beef".

Twitter cuts revenue forecast, shares slump

Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) reported quarterly revenue that fell short of Wall Street estimates and cut its full-year forecast because of weak demand for its new direct response advertising, sending shares down as much as 24 percent on Tuesday.
