Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
This can't be an album

No pre-order links

Mixtape sites all got their countdowns going

Big mistake not capitalising on this buzz

This will move more units than whatever he has coming a few months down the line

Gonna have a lot of new eyes and ears waiting on this
why in the hell are y'all thinking this will move any units with no singles, no videos, no tours, no buzz

besides beefing with game and mac.... which brought game about 20k in sales WITH the above mentions... why in the hell would meek do numbers?

he better wait on nicki for that first single feature... rapping about love right in time for summer and shyt

I haven't look at the thread yet so luckily I haven't been swayed by anything.

First thing, 14 tracks, 13 guests? :stopitslime: That's way too much.

A lot of rappers rap about the same thing, but with the great rappers (ie. Jeezy, Pusha) at least the songs seems different. The problem with Meek is not only does he rap the same thing but IT ALSO SOUNDS THE SAME. Sometimes it's hard to differentiate which songs are which, not just this project, but his whole career

Blessed Up is by FARRRRR the best song on this. Its a great song, it's the only great song. There are songs on this that are good, not great though (ie. Litty, Shine, On The Regular)

Outro shouldn't have had that beat change. That messed it up from making it another great song. I'm a French fan, but him and that beat change had absolutely no business being on this.

Tony Story 3 is cool, the original will always be the best though. That's one of the GOAT storytelling songs, you actually genuinely can pan out every moment. I know some cat made a video for it on Youtube, it's dope.

DC1 is the still his best mixtape, it had many great songs (Work, Tony Story, Middle Of The Summer, Get Dis Money, Dreamchasers)

The first 4 songs were good, then he took a step back.

Garbage joints: Froze, The Difference, You Know

3.5/5

PS - This man went from name dropping watches and cars to name dropping Meech :russ:

Nobody listens to something 5 or 6 times that's just meh.

granted 3 of the listens was on the first day it came out.
the more i listened the less i fukked with it...listened to it again this morning too on the jog.

about 6 songs i really like, a couple good joints and the rest ranges from ok to poor.
good enough tape and bigger fans of Meek will love it but i wanted more of a certain type of Meek.

made a nice little compilation of stuff post DWMTM so i'm good.
