This is what I'm saying, I ain't come from the struggle or anything I got a pretty good life but I still fukks with Meek because he speaking to the ones who do. The ones who relate or are even aware of that life relate. I know a few old friends definitely banging this shyt, stay safe out there. i think this is where Meek has struggled with the direction of the project.
off snippets he was sitting on a lot of heat and its came to narrowing it down.

he was not going to throw verses from w/ Thugger, 21 Savage, Uzi and Quavo to the way side, especially on a tape he's going to sell and they've set the tone for narrowing down the track list and then built the rest around it.

i like most the songs he's got with those artists but i don't want to listen to Meek with them constantly.

Meek was always going to be good.
he's damn near got a whole lane to himself with no real rival..his fans been choking for this and he got the male groupies. he's good regardless.

as for the tape...the tape will be overrated and then you'll have people will slate it for no real reason. it will fall somewhere in the middle.
off of first listen, honestly.....i feel it should have been better.

Meek and Tory got a good run of songs together.
not the type of song i was expecting w/ Meek and Lucci.

i kind of wanted to put Way Up in there in the songs i liked and even though i liked Meek and Tracy T verses but the song is kind of jarring.
The Difference kind of suffers from this too but i fukk with that song more for some reason.

Shine is fantastic....the stand out.
but theres no real joints on here that gave me the feeling, the way.....say, a Jump Out The Face did.

i can see this being a typical Meek release.....gets play for a few weeks then it will disappear out of the rotation.
was good to hear a project fro him again though.

I'm mixed on the dude, like I fukk with some of his music but he really overrated. Especially where I live, I'm a lil outside of Philly so Uzi been known for a while since he's local and he's like the only artist my friends listen to and they wanna dismiss dudes like Herbo and shyt for Uzi, that's where most of my hate for dude stems from. It's not even really him, it's his fanbase.
