Solid effort from Meek - 7/10

Not the classic some are calling it but also not a dud the OVO nut huggers are calling it either

I personally think with all the attention he has now, he should have dropped a better project to retain all the new eyes and ears

I can tell from some of my friends reactions to initial listens they won't be back for future projects

Some of the feedback has been the same old lazy shyt - 'he shouts' etc

The highs on this album are amazing (Litty, Shine, Tony Story) etc but a few too many tracks that sounds like filler and the Uzi and Nicki joint is awful

It's a cool mixtape, nothing crazy. First 3 songs are hard but then the nicki uzi song fukks up the momentum

I felt like Two Wrongs had substance, as did Shine and Blue Notes. It's just all in how Meek leveled up, most people would rather he stay the dirty hood nikka rapping on the corner, like it hurts that he raps about his success now more than his struggle.

I would like to hear Meek put more substance in his music also, but this wasn't the project for that. This was a statement project so I can understand the more energy/less substance route he took

I gave it a few listens, I am not saying he needs some deep detailed album. But if this was his statement project he failed. Album sounds full of leftovers and one hit misses. Not a single song that will survive the initial hype of the album release is what I am saying.
