Meek ain't my favorite rapper by a long shot but he put together a solid project with some real standouts. The first 5 I named will definitely get play, the rest I'll likely never listen to again other than Shine or Blessed Up maybe.

Meek ain't my favorite rapper by a long shot but he put together a solid project with some real standouts. The first 5 I named will definitely get play, the rest I'll likely never listen to again other than Shine or Blessed Up maybe.

Solid effort from Meek - 7/10
Not the classic some are calling it but also not a dud the OVO nut huggers are calling it either
I personally think with all the attention he has now, he should have dropped a better project to retain all the new eyes and ears
I can tell from some of my friends reactions to initial listens they won't be back for future projects
Some of the feedback has been the same old lazy shyt - 'he shouts' etc
The highs on this album are amazing (Litty, Shine, Tony Story) etc but a few too many tracks that sounds like filler and the Uzi and Nicki joint is awful
