Don’t know what you mean but y’all lying if you don’t still collect music and have a large ass library from over the years. I don’t really fukk with streaming like that
It’s $7 to $10 a month. How could you not? With a $99 gift card Spotify is $8.25 a month.

If you’ve built a collection over the past decade plus , you got shyt that isn’t on streaming and streaming is good for new projects but I personally like owning my shyt tbh

This. There are albums that i have in my 14 year music collection that have never seen a streaming platform before. Plus albums get pulled from platforms all the time so why would I pay for something I dont have full access to. These streaming services dont even have R. Kelly's catalogue anymore. :scust:

Bruh get a converter and enjoy the fruits of YouTube. I feel you on owning as there are some albums I download from sites that have ripped but I haven’t bought any new albums since pilot talk 2. I’ll get a vinyl of some old stuff but that’s it.

For most collectors, getting music at the highest quality possible like FLAC is important. Transcoding from some lossy YouTube format to another flabby mp3/mp4 format isn't the wave for a collector. Its all about preservation.
